Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club is located in Accomack County, Virginia.

Anglers’ Corner
With the great weather, there has been a great start to the flounder season. Many catches reported all over the bay. A lot of fish over 20 inches being caught on most set ups. Have not heard of any monsters yet! When the wind and the grass aren’t too bad, the fishing has been real good. Over on the beach, the drum have also moved in, with a striper or two being caught and released until the season opens, May 16th. The wreck fishing got quiet since tog season closed in VA, April 16th. So go to the MD wrecks for toggin. Fresh water fishing has been exciting, the big bass have been feeding hard and the crappie fishing has also been good. I will have the results of the Cove Flounder Tournament in the next issue of the Chronicles
The Coast Guard Aux. will be having the boat inspec-tions on May 26th, starting at 9:30 am until 2:00 pm, at the boat dock. Use this service, it saves much time.

Captain's Cove was alive with the sights and sounds over the holidays.
